A jelek szerint végre pont került a már nevetségessé váló Brütal Legend marakodásra, mely először az Activision és az Electronic Arts között zajlott, majd később beszálltak a fejlesztők is.

Az Activision egyszerűen nem tudta megemészteni, hogy ballépés volt elengedni a Jack Black főszereplésével készülő, az idei E3 után kiváló kritikákat kapott játékot és mindent megpróbált, hogy megakadályozza annak megjelenését. Ám első beadványukat a bíróság elutasította, a másodikkal egy időben pedig a dologba beleunt Double Fine is beadott egy iratot, mellyel az Activisiont vádolta.

Aminek a jelek szerint meg is lett a hatása, az Activision ugyanis elkezdett tárgyalni az Electronic Arts-szal és a mai napon bejelentették, hogy a két óriáskiadó megegyezett egymással a Brütal Legend sorsáról. Ám ennél többet nem árultak el, viszont ezzel elhárult minden akadály az októberi megjelenés útjából. Ennek örömére a Double Fine nyilvánosságra hozta, hogy mely dalokat is hallhatjuk majd a játékban. Vigyázat, hosszú a lista.
